- This medicine is suitable for adults and children.
- This medicine is for external use.
- Use as indicated by your doctor.
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Apply a thin layer to affected area and slowly massage it.
- Apply to affected area once or twice daily, but not more.
Do not use Hydrocortisone butyrate
- If you’re allergic to the active substances or any other component of this medicine.
- If your skin condition is caused by an infection (athlete’s foot, herpes…)
- If you have skin problems associated with syphilis (a sexually transmitted disease) or tuberculosis.
- If the skin around your mouth is inflamed (perioral dermatitis).
- If you have pimples or spots (acne).
- If you have redness of the facial skin.
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor before using this medicine:
- If you’re going to use it on your face or sensitive areas.
- If you’re going to use it on large areas of your skin.
- If you’re going to use it on skin folds or under a bandage.
- If you are using it for psoriasis. It should be used for a short period of time.
Possible side effects
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

- Skin thinning, redness, discoloration
- Blurred vision
- Suppression of the release of the stress hormones
