Do not take Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid for more than 2 weeks. Children aged 6 years or less should preferably be treated with Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid oral suspension or sachets. The tablets are not suitable for children weighing less than 25 kg For adults and children weighing 40 kg and over The usual dose is 1 tablet every 8 hours or 1 tablet every 12 hours, depending on the severity and type of infection. Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
