The active ingredient in this medicine is Ichthammol (ammonium bituminosulfonate). Ichthammol is bacteriostatic and can slow down the growth of bacteria. It also contains glycerol which provides a moisturizing base and softens the skin. It is used for the treatment of chronic eczema.
For external use on the skin only Adults, the elderly and children under 12 years: Apply 1-3 times daily to the affected skin.
