What Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops product is used for:
- Analgesic ear drops for otitis media. Used to treat minor infections of the outer ear.
- This generic drug is indicated in the following cases:
- Acute otitis media of various etiologies
- Prompt relief of pain and reduction of inflammation in the congestive and serous stages
- Adjuvant therapy during systemic antibiotic administration for resolution of the infection
Do not use Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops:
- Hypersensitivity to one of the components
- Tympanic membrane perforation
Warnings and precautions:
- If you have a perforated eardrum, or think you may have, consult your doctor before you use this medicine.
- Do not use for more than 7 days.
- Do not give Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops to children under 12 years of age.
- Avoid contact with the eyes
How to use Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops:
For adults and children aged 12 years and over.
- Adult: 4-6 drops 3-4 times daily depending on the severity of inflammation
How to store Benzocaine & Phenazone ear drops:
- Store between 15°-25°C (59°- 77°F).
- Protect from light and heat.
- Keep out of reach of children.
