• To be taken as a whole tablet once daily before breakfast, unless another way is mentioned.
• Tablets should never be crushed

Side Effects:
• Severe diarrhea
• Kidney problems such as decreased urination
• Bone fractures, particularly in the hip
• Low magnesium levels in the blood
Warnings:
• Always take the medication as directed by your doctor or pharmacist
• Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any medications or have kidney problems
• Consult your doctor before taking the medication if you are pregnant or nursing
• Do not take the medication if you are taking HIV drugs, antifungal medications, or antiplatelet medications
